Programming up a new app  Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
Tuesday, February 03 2009 @ 07:28 AM Pac Contributed by:WolfCoast Views: 644

AstrologyCurrently programming up a prototype of an astrology aspect timeline. Will likely move the blog to another service like blogspot, as I really don't want to maintain user spam any longer. This site will likely just be tools that I make and looking at several business applications. As it materializes I'll update. Thanks, WolfCoast @gmail.com

General News

Back when I started the idea wolfcoast.com, it was about woodart and it was a game identity. I met Arlene and it made me wonder, then create with my curiosity. She wanted a tarot app for her website, mellinetti.com. I wanted to learn the tarot and made the shuffling using natural algorithms based on days of investigation on physical shuffling of cards. But now I have a bazzilion ideas that I want make and share.

What do you want to see? email me as wolfcoast on gmail.com. I have some ideas into planet transits to natal. I want to introduce a change in view about Astrology. Dig back to the depth of curiosity. We have come to understand Earth based astrology as discredited. As it should, but why? I hope to untangle some fundamental challenges in misconceptions.

Earth Based or Sun Based Influences?

Earth Based? We are on earth, we deal with it's experiences. Sure. Although, Earth owes it's existence to the Sun. The Light of Man is the Sun of God.

Sun based? What does Sun based astrology mean?

Planets are chemical clumps in motion in turn act as gravity influences on a perpetual massive nuclear explosive reaction (the Sun) that in turn sends radioactive bursts and magnetism bombarding the planets with changes in the Atmosphere and Magnetic Shield.

The timings of the chemical clumps (planets) in measure to the Sun's perspective. Albiet conjunctions, squares, or oppositions of these different gravities would change the quality of the radiation and there is also magnetic fields between all the planets and the Sun. The Sun is Highly magnetic, there has to be a simularity between Gravity and Magnetivity such that we could derive power to tap into.

The protective magnetic shield around the Earth is run by the molten iron and nickle in the core as it moves in the earth. There is massive electricty run through it. Noteworthy as an endless supply of energy, but at cost of messing with the magnetic shield. Not a wise idea. Why not utilize the Sun's magnetic fluctuations and harness that energy? Brilliant! Like we could conceive something so powerful that could influence the Sun. Good Luck. :)

There are no cloudy days in Space. :)

How does harmful radioactivity turn in to life energy? The answer is a combination of atmosphere and magnetic field. The harmful radioactivity is transformed by those 2 protections and we absorb it's influence.

Radiation splits and matures DNA in living things, it also gives us warmth. Our beings are made by the influence of the Sun, without it, there is no life. I am grateful to it's utility and stability. But to understand what the creator of the Sun, is to understand reverberation and cycles of it's influence, including the earth.

What is earth based astrology useful for then?

I believe that all of the history of human understanding is compressed in the planet meanings and patterns. At least 14,000 years worth of observations, it's only been 500 years since humans even understood the earth to be spherical and the sun the center of a solar system.

But more importantly, it is to map what was against Sun based observations. We must understand the Sun and rely on it's energies and there is an endless supply of energy.

So, this is a challenge I've felt to confront. Tools and analysis of human history, observed planetary patterns, comparing earth astrology with sun centered astrology. I might even dig up some Sunny news. ;-)

Saturn Conjunct Mars  Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
Monday, June 30 2008 @ 05:00 PM ifi Contributed by:WolfCoast Views: 68

Astrology

Looking at planet patterns again. Been watching saturn conjunct mars patterns, it looks like it's every ~2 years and 17 days (on average).

It will conjunct at 05 Virgo 28, charts with planets with degrees within a 7 degree orb will be influenced by this combination.

Saturn in mutable earth Virgo brings out the attentiveness to sift through details.

Mars in Virgo gives us the motivation and passion towards being thorough in everything we do.

Merge these 2 influences together and on the cohesive side we have a dedicated worker gluing through some of the hardest sifting with percision. On the disparent side there is swift recourse for sloppy methods.

Time of Influence
Enters aspect 7 degrees applying 6/24/2008
Exact aspect 0 degrees 7/10/2008
Exits aspect 7 degrees separating 7/24/2008

This is the dates that Saturn conjunct Mars has happened in the past. I also compared the delta between each of the conjuncts and also compare Mars retrograde.

Delta Date @ sign degrees Mars Retrograde
  7/30/2010 @ 00 lib 48
2y 10d 7/10/2008 @ 05 vir 28 12/20/2009 - 3/09/2010
2y 23d 6/17/2006 @ 08 leo 45 11-15-2007 - 1/30/2008
2y 24d 5/24/2004 @ 11 can 18 10/02/2005 - 12/09/2005
2y 21d 5/03/2002 @ 13 gem 53  7/29/2003 - 9/26/2003
2y 18d 4/15/2000 @ 17 tau 19  5/11/2001 - 7/19/2001

Can watch it march through the signs, was looking for a pattern with the degrees, have to look at a larger set to see if there is an overall pattern. Learned that there is an easy rule of 2 years and 17 days for this pattern.

Lunar Total Eclipse 2/20/2008 - 7:26pm PST  Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
Wednesday, February 20 2008 @ 01:26 PM Pac Contributed by:WolfCoast Views: 184

AstrologyTook some pictures of the Lunar Eclipse tonight. Saturn was sitting right next to the moon (not included in this picture below).

I'll do more of a write-up at a later time. The biggest notes that I have that are significant with and/or around this eclipse time period are:
-Pluto and Jupiter entering Capricorn (Saturn acts as the significator for the Capricorn era that we are entering till 2024 ...Yes, it will be 16 years that Pluto will transit through Capricorn... not the normal 10-12 year cycles that all of us grew up with.)

  • Saturn Conjunct Moon (be careful of "go it alone" attitudes, don't allow guilt to play a substitute for emotional support)
  • Saturn and Uranus Opposition from late 2007 to 2011, 5 exact oppositions in that time period. (Unruly public against authority)
  • Neptune and Chiron Conjunct (harsh flu season)
  • Mercury just going direct (who had communication and travel problems in the last 21 days?)
  • Mars and Pluto Opposition (Mars was just retrograde and went direct, so passed Pluto's orb for the 3rd time. First that comes to mind is all the talk that has spurned up about the US policy on Torture, blow-back effects are hard to admit for some.)

Timelines represented as circles  Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
Wednesday, February 13 2008 @ 06:13 AM Pac Contributed by:WolfCoast Views: 718

AstrologyI've had a series of dreams about timelines in circles. The circles connected at nodes (events | connection to other circles). Most circles will always expand, some halt then restart, representing a cycle of repeating history. All circles are connected to larger parent circles that are always expanding, can't think of a circumstance that a circle would collapse. Only erased, such as lost history. Haven't figured out how to represent cycles along this concept.

I haven't seen this represented anywhere else. Any of you?

Write me @ wolfcoast at gmail.

Site was hacked today  Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
Monday, February 11 2008 @ 08:21 AM Pac Contributed by:WolfCoast Views: 121

General NewsSite was hacked today and I am sorry for what was witnessed here. It appeared to be islamic, I have no idea what the attack was about. The last entry was the poem that I have below, Banking on our Future. Could have upset someone?

I'll do a chart on the time that I noticed this hack. If you have a different time for the first witness of the hack earlier than 2/11/2008 2:21pm, send email to wolfcoast on gmail.

The topnav is malfunctioning as a result of the hack, I'm trying to find out from my provider what is happening in regard to my service.

Update 1am: Fixed topnav now doesn't cause the rest of the site to break when ephemeris isn't working.
Did a reading:
Fixed?
Update 2: (2/13/2008) Things are finally settled out. I've come up with a couple work-around's for getting things working. I had a server move in the middle of it all, what a pain!

Thanks,
WolfCoast

General NewsPoem that came to me on Jan 21st.

Banking In Our Future

They're coming over the borders of Mexico
Bringing their business & what they know

It's the american dream

The police don't mind as long as they're polite
We're losing privilege and Constitutional Rights

It's Homeland Security

The Amero is gaining as the dollar drops
Bleeding small business by the gobs

It's 4 world currencies

The fed feigns in crisis & sells our stock
We're slaving up to the age old banking clock

Sold a new american century

New Song: The water where we're found in  Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
Tuesday, May 02 2006 @ 09:32 AM ifi Contributed by:WolfCoast Views: 510

Music

The intention of the song is to call out the freedoms that we all have and the responsibility of holding on. But it has a flip side, how to explain the knowledge that everyone screws up and screws life around because it's the nature of the beast.

We're fighting demons we can't see
stirring it into birds and bees
then reproducing it right on sight

it's a calling that feels forbidden
but in us to take flight in
it comes out through the way we breathe

It's in your mother

it's in your father
it's the dirt found inbetween
it's in your sister
and in your brother
tempting everything we see

We'll pull it out of each other
point and draw the dagger
spite and quarter it into fear

But through the lies and tears
is frustration through the years
confusing doubt with the freedom to fly

It's the water that we're down in
the water that we're drownin
it's in the nature of the sea

It's the water that we're down in
the water that we're drownin
it's broken trust then hypocrisy

I think if rearranged a little, this might be catchy, maybe it is already. It's actally about every single relationship that holds on the frays, some ending in divorce then moving on, some sticking it out but cheating because they held doubt confused with freedom.

So what do you think 'it' is in the song/poem?

Thanks,

WolfCoast

General News

I'm switching gears and going to be working on a new idea away from the metaphysical stuff. I have asperations to get into ideas of organizing the music scene a little with some new technology.

The tarot and astro app won't go away, but I have had the hardest time trying to find motivation towards putting energy into either. At some later time, when the timing is right, I will come back to it with renewed vigor and insight.

For the time being, I'm not going to announce outright what my idea is. I just need to get to it and let it stand for itself.

Thanks,

WolfCoast

Here comes the Eclipse  Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version
Friday, March 24 2006 @ 04:00 PM Pac Contributed by:WolfCoast Views: 717

Astrology

Today the moon is in it's final major aspect (sextile) till the eclipse.  It will be interesting to watch what comes out with this Eclipse that happens over the North Node this time. Consider this piece that I wrote:

The North Node is like an ever digressing destiny in now and the South Node like an ever longing slumber in a familiar setting contemplating.

The Solar Total Eclipse will be on Mar 29, 2006, that's 4 days away.

An excercise.

  1. Write down the news events of a month corridor:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005
    1. South Node Eclipse period 9/28/05 - 10/21/05
    2. North Node Eclipse period 3/26/05 - 4/28/05
  2. Determine what news events were categorized by. Write down your first thoughts of describing the events from the gut.
  3. Find a house to place the event in, imagine the landscape of that house and then describe using the guidance of the table below. (Will add tomorrow)

At the end of this cycle, April 2nd, we'll go through an exercise with the current period news events, starting from March 10, 2006 to April 2, 2006. then try to make it into a return project to add to in October for the next South Node Events.

Thoughts to come:

See how to compact an index of discussions into an application of symbol and tag hierarchies.

Other articles linked through tag and symbol searching priorities.

Astro app linking for dates mentioned in articles embedded in writing forms.

Further thoughts than that:

Layering the app and content to show richly without being obtrusive. Icons on the side that when moused over zoom out to full applications and pinned to stay or fade to read text behind. Dragging somehow without too much percision. It feeds off the links using ajax embedded in the story, after the app receives the information, then unfold it's tools or waken up the buttons on the right side.

Thanks,

WolfCoast
